Just a warning... if you haven't noticed yet, I don't update this thing anymore, so you might as well not bother reading it.

If you want to know what's going on in my life, you can call me or e-mail me or better yet talk to me in person.

Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote last. Geeperz... I really suck at this whole posting thing. Oh well, it's all good.

Anyway... so in the last 3 or 4 or watever weeks quite a lot has happened. The biggest thing would be spring break... went to California (Orange County/Anaheim area) on a band trip. It wasn't as great as we all had hoped it would be, I guess our standards were set high since the trip to Florida sophmore year was so awesome, but it was a lot of fun none the less. We got home that wednesday night, so I pretty much had four days of spring break, most of which I spent laying around at home cuz I got super pukey sick a few hours after we got home. Had a week of school after break, and then the spring retreat was that weekend. For those of you non-youth group people or if you just didn't know... the retreat was entirely planned by the seniors. Tiffany and myself were sort of headed it up, so the two of us were in charge of a lot of it. We started planning for it probably about four months ago... her and I have met every week since then and we've had six or seven senior meetings as well.... so a lot of work went into that one weekend. When it finally came up, we were all really excited to make it finally happen and have all our plans come together. I only went to one class on friday, and went to church to put the finishing touches on some things and load the vans up with all stuff we needed and watnot. Tiffany, Colleen, Melissa, Shantel, and myself went up that afternoon to unload everything and set up, etc. Blah blah blah, that's not important.... moving on. That weekend ended up being AWESOME. Everything went smootly, everyone had a great time, the sessions were great, the free time was great, the food was great, the worship was great, the people were great... everything was great. The outcome well surpassed my goals and expectations for the weekend, so I was really happy with how it went. It really worked on some people's hearts in amazing ways, and most everybody learned a ton, and relationships were cultivated really well too. Everybody got to meet new people and get to know other people better and see new sides of people and all that jazz. Through all this planning and all the work we did that weekend, that group of senior girls got a lot closer... I specifically got to know Shantel a lot better and I'm really excited to become better friends with her in the future. Also, I know Abby's sharing really touched all the girls hearts, and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get closer to her as well. Anyway... so theat's enough about the retreat. Summary: It was AWESOME!

Recently... I didn't go to very much school at all this week..... I've been recovering from the tiredness/stressed-out-edness/etc from the retreat and I also felt like crap most of the week, so that wasn't too fun, especially cuz now I've got lots of make-up work to do, but whatever... that's life.

Today I was in Ames all day visiting ISU. Ever since I got denied by Marquette i haven't really known what I want to do with my life or where I want to go, so dealing with the whole college issue has been difficult. So... given the fact that I'm not smart enough for a really good school and that there's a good chance I'll change my mind about majors/careers and that we're poor... I've decided to go to Iowa State. I prety much figured that would be what I'd do prior to the visit today, unless it was an absolute hell-hole and I totally hated it, so today was like a just-to-make-sure-it-isn't-horrendous type of thing. And, as expected, it wasn't hell... so ta's where I'll be going next year. It's nice to have finally absolutely for-sure decided on a school, but as you know, this isn't the road that I really want to be taking. So I guess I'll just have to do my best to forget the awesomely perfect plans I had before at Marquette, and make the most out of the time I'll have at ISU. I'm sure everything will work out fine in the end... but I really hate being so uncertain about my future. I a big plan-ahead-er type person, so it makes me very uneasy that I don't know for sure what I want to do with my life and that I'm not totally confident in my college and major decision. So... for now I'll be happy with what I've got and enjoy the time I still have at Kennedy and in Cedar Rapids and hope for the best in Ames. So I'm a cyclone now... I'll be sporting some more ISU gear and ridin with the Iowa State decals on the vehicle formerly known as "The PackerMobile". (I'm not sure what to call it anymore...??? Just "The Mobile"? Or is it now "The CyMobile"? I don't know.) In conclusion.... GO CYCLONES!!!

today was boring as usual... school was boring, afternoon was boring... rah rah. had a band concert tonight, and guess what... that's right... it was boring.

i'm gonna hit the sack as early as possible tonight, cuz i still haven't been feeling good and i need to get lots of sleep to get better, plus i'm trying to stock up on as much sleep as i can for california, since we'll be getting less than six hours every night while we're there. i pretty much guarantee i'll be suuuuper tired almost the entire time, but oh well, i'll just have to deal with it... that's what caffeine and sugar are for.

tomorrow will be pretty busy and stressful, so i probably won't have time to write. i've got two big tests to study for, plus i gotta go to the salon so my mom can screw with my hair (ugh), and of course there's youth group at night. hopefully (but very doubtfully) i'll have some time in there to do some shopping, cuz there's still a lot of stuff i need for Cali. ugghhh... i hate clothes shopping.... it will most definately suck.

k well i'm gonna head out now... gotta go do garbage and scoop cat poop... fun stuff. nighty night.

Hellllloooo. Sorry I haven't posted in a super long time... I wasn't feelin too good last week and missed some school yet again, but I'm doing better now, and I'm just hopin that I'll be healthy for California and not have to worry about being sick or feeling like crap when I'm there. And speaking of California.... ONLY 4 MORE DAYS BABY!!! YESSSSS!!!!!

Haha, anyway... so last week was boring so I'm not gonna talk about it, plus a few people are being huge jerks to me and I'm really pissed at them so I don't wanna talk about that either. So... this weekend.... it was interesting cuz this was the first weekend in a while that I actually had something going on other than being at church a bunch on sundays. Friday night was Shamrock... I wasn't too stoked for it cuz I wasn't feelin good and I was already ready for a nap when I got home from school, so the staying up till 12:30 was a little difficult for me. But it did end up being a good time. Katie came with me, and we were on a team with Peter, Brandon, Jordan, Brad, Rachel, and Charlie was our driver. We did really well with the clues, and ended up not using any hints at all, and that won us the big trophy. Yeah baby. That was the second time I actually won it, and the other two times I tied to win it. In my four years in high school doing Shamrock I have used a grand total of ZERO hints. That's right... zero. Conclusion: I am the scavenger hunt STUD. Actually it's not that I'm super smart or awesome at clues or anything... the main thing that has helped my team every year is that fact that I'm incredibly stubborn. The biggest key to doing well in the scavenger hunt is patience people, PATIENCE. Anybody can figure those thingsout if you just keep trying... don't just get frustrated and give up after ten minutes and ask for a hint... just keep at it and you'll get it. There ya go... now you wall have my secret to winning Shamrock. Good luck.

Saturday was pretty awesome. Kalli and Ashley and I went down to the outlet mall in Williamsburg. It was crazy day... a ton of laughing (most of it at me), lots of my money spent, and one extremely poopy incident involving Sunkist. It consumed a good hour and a half of our day... and Kalli and Ashley both almost died from laughing at me so much... but I'll give you the condensed version of the story, and you'll still get plenty of amusement out of it and you can make fun of me for it, and you can ask me about it if you wanna know more. Ok, so here it is... I dropped my bottle of pop, and we all know what happens when you pop gets shaken up... I got in the car and proceeded to open the bottle... you guessed it, it fizzed out everywhere... but not just a little, a TON... it went all in my lap and my crotch and it looked exactly like I peed my pants. We dried up as much as we could from the seat with all te Kleenexes in the car, but nothing could be done about my jeans. It was BAD. After over an hour of them laughing and me trying to figure out what the hell to do and finally an escapade in the Nike store with my huge coat tied around my waist like a skirt, I finally ended up with new dry pants on and down 25 bucks. Other than that, the day was a lot of fun. We goofed off and caused trouble and acted like immature wierdos, but it was a good time.

Ok, I'm just gonna stop here cuz I'm super stinkin tired, and I just wanna go take a nap. Nighty night.

hidey ho kiddies. not much goin on around here... friday was exciting cuz we were done with winter term and finals and everything, and i really just wanted to do something fun... but that didn't happen cuz i'm a loser. bummer. yesterday i just bummed around that house as usual. dad and i worked on my car for three hours, did some tune up stuff and whatnot, so that was nice, i enjoy spendin time with my dad like that. i got a call from lisa eades in the afternoon, she was looking for a babysitter for that night cuz there was some "spud night" thing at church for the jr. highers. of course i didn't have anything better to do, so i agreed to it... i wouldn't have ended up doing anything productive anyway, so i midaswell make a couple bucks with my night. ended up only gettin $15, cuz it was only 2 1/2 hours and it was just the two little boys. oh well, fifteen bucks is fifteen bucks... i need all i can get.

today was a disappointing day. i was supposed to go down to outlet mall in williamsburg with dome friends from school, but that totally fell apart. we had been planning it all week, and i even got permission to take my mom's fancy 2004 Buick LeSabre, but the one person that was sposta for sure be going with me managed to cancel at the last minute. Katie was gonna come for sure, and Brooke and Emily were both maybe gonna come. the latter two both had too much stuff goin on so they couldn't, and Katie called me this morning and said her mom wouldn't ler her go because she didn't tell her till today. what the frick?!?! that's why we been planning it all week Katie!!! so our parents would let us and not get mad!! duh!!! aaaaahh!!! i'm so annoyed, i really wanted to go. we all needed to shop for stuf for California (12 days baby!)... swimsuits, warm-weather clothes, stuff to do, travel junk, and whatnot. so that super sucked that we didn't get to go, it woulda been a ton of fun. it would be awesome if we could go next weekend, but i'll have to ask the ladies... and this time i'll make certain that they ask their parents well ahead of time.

anyway... so since i didn't go to the cheapy mall today, i had nothing to do, and since i've become such a boring lazy lard lately, i did nothing at all. about all i did today prior to going to church was read the newspaper, pick up my bedroom, laundry, clean my bathroom, and play football with my dad. that's sad. i disgust myself. anyway... i went to church at 4 for worship practice, and afterwards i decided i didn't feel like going to big church so i left and hit a few stores. went to target, got some junk from the dollar section (woo hoo! cheap stuff rocks!) like a couple picture frames in cool colors, and a cute little tote thing i thought might be handy for college, and i also got new deodorant and shave gel, which i think is fun cuz then you get a new smell and pretty smells are exciting. oh my gosh i'm suck a dork. once again... i disgust myself. someone shut me up please. moving on... after taret i went to this game stop place in the mall. they buy and sell used dvds there, so i took the castaway dvd (my dad got it as a gift and none of us like that movie) and the terminator 3 dvd (which i mistakenly bought two of for my dad for chrsitmas.. long story, don't ask, i'm just dumb, that sums it up) and traded them in. i got a lousy three bucks for the both of them... that's the stupidest thing i've ever heard... i was pretty ticked about it. but whatever. you get 20% less if you get it in cash, so i used store credit instead and bought LOTR return of the king, which i had been wanting to buy anyway. great movie... now i've got all three. yay for me. went back to church, drummed for worship, talked with tiffany about some retreat stuff, blah blah, boring as usual, left early as usual. and now i'm here... wow fascinating day.

so that's my boring last few days... if you for some reason have managed to read this far, i commend you, you have a very high tolerance for boringness. (ooh! lightning!yay! i love storms!) well... i midaswell hit the sack. it'll be nice not to have 0 hour anymore, but now i have to go back to waking to school, which sucks cuz i'm lazy, but i think we've already determined that. oh well, it'll be good for me. i'm out... nighty night.
